Coffee or Tea is exactly what the name says — Fujian black tea blended with real coffee beans and rose petals. It is the strongest, highest-caffeine blend we make, built for people who want a tea that hits like a coffee.

Taste

The Fujian black tea base is malty and full, and the roasted coffee bean sits right on top of it — you get the coffee aroma first, then the tea's body underneath. Rose petals cut through with a floral note that keeps it from reading as a straight mocha. Rich and dark, but still recognisably tea.

What's inside

  • Black tea — from Fujian, known for a smooth, malty character.
  • Coffee beans — for roasted depth and a genuine caffeine lift.
  • Rose petals — for a floral top note that balances the roast.

How to brew

Use one teaspoon (about 2–3 g) per cup. Pour freshly boiled water (95–100°C) and steep 3–4 minutes. Takes milk very well — it makes a genuinely good tea latte. Re-steep once for a lighter cup.

When to drink it

Morning, or the 3 pm slump at work. Not an evening tea — this is the one blend in our range we would keep well away from bedtime.

Frequently asked questions

How much caffeine is in Coffee or Tea?
More than any other blend we make. Black tea alone typically carries about 50–70 mg per cup, and the roasted coffee beans add to that — so treat it like a coffee, not a tea, and keep it to the morning or early afternoon.

Does it taste like coffee or like tea?
Both, in that order. The roasted coffee aroma comes through first, then the malty black tea body underneath. Rose petals keep it from tasting like a plain mocha.

Can I make it as a latte?
Yes — it is one of the best blends in our range for milk. Brew it strong (a slightly heaped teaspoon, 4 minutes), then add hot milk.
