O2H TEA
Eastern Star Christmas Tea Set
The Eastern Star Tea Set is a four-tea gift box that borrows the story of the Magi — each tea stands in for one of the gifts, with the star itself as the fourth.
What's in the box
- Gold — Peach Mountain. White peach oolong with rose petals; sweet, aromatic, roughly 30–50 mg caffeine.
- Frankincense — Lychee Believer. Lychee black tea; fragrant and full, roughly 50–70 mg caffeine.
- Myrrh — Velvet Petal. Grapefruit jasmine tea; floral with a citrus edge.
- Eastern Star — Gardenia Moonlight. Gardenia green tea; creamy, floral, roughly 25–45 mg caffeine.
Why these four
It is the most aromatic set we make — every one of the four is scented or fruited, and none of them need milk or sugar. If you are buying for someone who likes floral and fruit flavours rather than a plain breakfast tea, this is the box.
How to brew
As a rule: black tea 95–100°C, 3–4 min; oolong 90–95°C, 2–3 min; green tea 75–80°C, 2 min; ripe pu-erh 100°C, a 10-second rinse then 20–30 second steeps; rooibos 100°C, 5 min. Use about a teaspoon (2–3 g) per cup.
Who it suits
A Christmas gift for someone who drinks tea for the aroma. Packed in Melbourne in biodegradable packaging.

Frequently asked questions
What teas are in the Eastern Star Tea Set?
Four: Gold (Peach Mountain white peach oolong), Frankincense (Lychee Believer lychee black tea), Myrrh (Velvet Petal grapefruit jasmine tea) and Eastern Star (Gardenia Moonlight gardenia green tea).
Do these teas need milk or sugar?
No. All four are scented or fruited and are designed to be drunk on their own — milk would cover the aroma, which is the point of the set.
Which is the lightest tea in the set?
Gardenia Moonlight, the gardenia green tea, at roughly 25–45 mg of caffeine per cup. Lychee Believer is the strongest as a black tea, at roughly 50–70 mg.
